Leasing process

A good first step is to see if your employer offers bike leasing with one of our partnering providers. If this is the case, and you have already been approved by your employer to start a bike lease, you can start your leasing process on this page.

    An option for every rider

We work with multiple leasing providers and types. This can take various forms: part from your gross monthly salary, gross end-of-year bonus or gross bonus. Some companies work with a cafeteria plan, on the basis of which the lease is established.

After the lease period, you can usually exchange or take over your bicycle at a predetermined residual value, free of charge.

Visit our FAQ for more information and make sure to check if your employer has an agreement with one of the providers listed above.

    FAQ

How can I order a bike through the scheme?

Request a quote from us via our dedicated form for the cost of the bike and accessories. Share the quote with your employer so that they can complete the process with the Cycle to Work provider. Once completed, you'll receive a voucher or certificate from the provider, which you can use to order a Cowboy bike.
You can send us the voucher and place your order though this form.

We'll send you a confirmation email once the order has been processed.

Can I add theft insurance or Cowboy Care to my cycle to work offer?

No, Cycle to work schemes only cover the cost of individual products - the bike itself and accessories. Theft insurance and Maintenance services are ongoing service and therefore not eligible for this scheme.

Can I top-up my cycle to work voucher or certificate with my own funds?

Unfortunately, you are not allowed to top up cycle to work scheme orders with your own money. The Department for Transport has specified that the adding of own funds to the certificate value will no longer be permitted, so you should apply for a certificate value that covers all the goods you would like to get through the scheme.

Of course, you can always buy extra cycling equipment in a separate, private order.

How much can I spend through the scheme?

This is decided upon by your employer. Your salary may affect how much you can spend through the scheme. This is because salary sacrifice schemes are not allowed to drop your gross pay below the national minimum wage.

    Can I return my order?

Yes, we still offer a 15 day return policy. If a return is requested, the full purchase needs to be returned. It's not possible to return only part of the order.
